Photograph of Tommy Cooper’s Blue Plaque at Pinewood Studios (Public Domain)

Saturday, April 7th, 2007

I took this photograph of Tommy Cooper’s memorial blue plaque at the television studios in Teddington.

Tommy Cooper (March 19, 1921 – April 15, 1984) was a fantastic comedian and magician, starring for many years in his own television shows for Thames Television.

Tommy Cooper was famous for presenting magic tricks that did not quite work (deliberately).

I was out walking again today and took a photograph of T.S. Eliot’s home in London in Kensington Court Place.

English Heritage Blue Plaque for T. S. Eliot

I enjoy poetry and whilst T.S. Eliot is not someone who I have enjoyed reading regularly, I have read some of his poetry and I am aware of the enormous influence he had on poetry during (and after) his lifetime. I like (from memory) The Journey of the Magi. I dislike (from memory) his cats poems.

I place this photograph in the public domain, as far as I am able, and allow any use including commercial.
