Free TV and Radio Shows - Audience Tickets

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

Ok, I’ve had some great fun recently with Standing Room Only, attending TV comedy shows as a member of the audience, and I thought I’d share the fun with you.

Standing Room Only offer free tickets to television shows that are being recorded in and around London and throughout the UK. Registration is simple, (and free) and SRO will add you to their database and email you when shows need an audience and there are available free tickets.

It is also worth having a look at the Current Shows page at SRO where you can register your interest for any of the TV shows currently available.

SRO have been involved in supplying audiences for lots of great shows, just a few are… So Graham Norton, The Vicar of Dibley, They Think It’s All Over, Birds of a Feather, Bremner, Bird and Fortune, Coupling, Alastair McGowan’s Big Impression and Bo Selecta! (Many, many more - take a look - Standing Room Only).

I personally in the past few months with Standing Room Only, have been in the television audience for Bremner Bird and Fortune (Pinewood Studios Teddington), The Peter Serafinowicz Show (Notting Hill Gate Cinema), and a look-back to the eighties show with Lisa Tarbuck (White City Television Centre).

One thing I will say, is, only book and agree to tickets if you are absolutely sure you will be able to attend. The best way to get more tickets to future shows is by being reliable and turning up to be in the audience when you are allocated tickets. Once you have been to a few TV or Radio shows as a member of the audience, you will build up a relationship with the company offering the free tickets and may well get offered future tickets before they become more publically available.

There are, of course, other TV Audience companies, that offer free tickets for televison and radio audiences, that you might want to check out and register with, here’s a list:

Also, of course, it is possible to get free radio and TV tickets direct from the BBC. If you just want BBC Comedy Shows - Go here.

Do you know of any more free places to get television and radio audience tickets?
