Bicycles in Kensington High Street, London (Public Domain Photograph)

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

I spotted this row of bicycles on the central reservation of Kensington High Street, London.

Kensington High Street is well known and much visited for its shopping attractions, with many big-name brands having stores there.

A recent high profile shop to open on the street was Whole Foods Markets.

Be sure to check out Hotel Chocolat – they often have free samples of delicious hand-made chocolate for tasting!

Kensington High Street runs from Kensington Palace through to Holland Park, going west away from London.

I place this Carbuncle’s Blog photograph of bicycle in Kensington High Street, London in the public domain, as far as I am able, and allow any use including commercial – check the terms of use here.

Photograph of a London Taxi (Black Cab) in Oxford Street London (Public Domain)

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

This is a London Taxi parked in the middle of Oxford Street.

As you can see, I’m not a very good photographer, but I’m practising and getting better…… :-)

I’ve airbrushed out the registration number of the black cab and also one of the public’s faces – otherwise the photograph is untouched.

No need to ask permission to use this photograph if it is of use to you, but if you really, really want to say thank you – why not link to Carbuncle’s blog so others can access the public domain pics here?
